The 20 kilowatt array on the new Visitor Center will be online in June 2009. Visitors will be able to view the array from the parking garage rooftop where the new Children's Garden will be located. As the Children's Garden is completed we will install an educational kiosk there which shows the details of the solar array, its production and carbon savings.

Major power companies in Colorado, including Xcel Energy, Black Hills Energy, Colorado Springs Municipal, Holy Cross and Aspen Municipal offer substantial rebates for solar– a real check from your power company covers part of your system cost.
